🔥Quote/Prompt
Life is always now.
Use the quote as a writing or thinking prompt to finish your week strong.
A bit from mine:
(posted in our Doer Entrepreneurs Free Community — off social media)
Have you ever said to yourself, I will...take the leap, do the thing, take the risk, summon my strength...
...when this project is over, starting Monday (maybe next Monday), when this busy period is over, when...
You get the idea.
Let's combine this […]

📈 Performance
Why can’t we just "choose" to be motivated? Aren’t others doing that? This research from Psychology Today reveals why motivation isn't actually about willpower – and what that means for actually getting things done.
"According to how our brain works, we have minimal influence over how thoughts and beliefs turn into action... The predetermined nature of our actions stems from how our brain processes rewards and motivates behavior. Your brain has a distinct neural pathway that automatically evaluate reward and drive motivated behavior. When presented with a potential reward, such as something we desire, the neurotransmitter dopamine is released involuntarily, enhancing the urge to act."
Key Insights:
Your motivation patterns are largely inherited, like eye color (Example: If you naturally procrastinate, fighting against it usually backfires)
You can't control motivation directly, but you can shape your environment (Example: Working from a café instead of home if you know you focus better there)
The key is working with your brain's reward system, not against it (Example: Breaking big projects into smaller chunks so you get more frequent dopamine hits from completing things)
Read the full article for the complete neuroscience explanation and specific strategies to leverage your brain's natural motivational patterns, plus how to use "self-reward" techniques to build better habits.

⚙️ Optimization
If you write a newsletter, marketing emails or even just…emails, this guide from HubSpot breaks down what actually works, backed by research showing subject lines have the biggest impact on open rates.
"According to HubSpot Research, 65% of surveyed marketers say that subject lines have the greatest impact on open rates. [...] A good email subject line conveys urgency, curiosity, personalization, and so much more. [For example] 'We Saw You Checking Us Out 😏' from DollsKill uses a playful, conversational tone that comes off flirty, a reflection of its company branding. The emoji also adds more fun and temptation to the message — reiterating that 'you know you want to' feeling regarding items they have already clicked on before."
Key Insights:
Timing beats cleverness (Example: "Uh-oh, your prescription is expiring" from Warby Parker hits at exactly the right moment)
Get personal without using names (Example: "What Can You Afford?" from Zillow speaks directly to the reader's situation)
Use preview text strategically (Example: BuzzFeed pairs "Not Cool, Guys" with preview text about passive-aggressive sticky notes to tell a story)
Read the full article for 60+ proven subject line examples, formulas for different types of emails (sales, newsletters, etc.), and a downloadable guide with 100 more subject lines.
⏲️ Time Management
Why does it sometimes feel like even when we are well rested, our bodies are in control of our productivity? Here's an interesting approach from Google's productivity expert Laura Mae Martin that helps you work with your natural rhythms instead of against them.
To figure out your own power hour, take a week or two to really pay attention to when you feel the most productive. Take note of when you feel the most inspired, as well as when you feel drained. Maybe you feel ready to tackle those phone calls you've been putting off after your first cup of coffee, and ready to pack it in and take a nap around 3 p.m. That would indicate that your power hour is around, say, 9 a.m.
Key Insights:
Your most productive time is unique to you (Example: The author discovered her peak productivity was at dawn, while others might hit their stride after lunch)
Environment matters as much as timing (Example: The author found her power hour worked best because it was quiet with no notifications or distractions)
You don't need to use your power hour every day (Example: The author alternates between morning workouts and power hours, adapting to her schedule)
Batch your tasks according to energy levels (Example: Use power hours for creative work, save admin tasks for lower energy periods)
Read the full article for step-by-step instructions on finding your power hour and real-world examples of how to implement it even with a busy schedule.
💻 Tools & Technology
So you put something into Claude, but it skips the infographics and charts, ugh, right? Until now! I am really excited about this one!
Claude can now see and process images, charts, and graphics added to a PDF to perform a deeper analysis of the document. Once done, users can ask the AI queries about the particular images and it can answer with relevant information... Currently, the maximum file size of a PDF uploaded to Claude can be 32MB with a maximum page count of 1,000.
Key Insights:
Full PDF analysis now includes embedded images (Example: Claude can interpret charts and graphs within business reports)
File limits are generous for most uses (Example: 32MB size and 1,000 page maximum)
The feature works through both chat interface and API (Example: You can integrate it into your own workflows and tools)

🤖 AI
This is actually crazy. You’ve dreamed of hiring a personal assistant but the trust factor and hey, the money factor, right? And where do you find one and how do you write the job ad and…on and on. Well, Anthropic just released a groundbreaking new feature called "Computer Use" that lets their AI Claude actually control a computer like a human would.
"Claude has the ability to 'see' a screen via screenshots, adapt to different tasks and move across workflows and software programs. It can also navigate between multiple screens, apps and tabs, open applications, move cursors, tap buttons and type text. [...] In one demo video, Finn asked Claude to research trending AI news stories and provide a rundown. Claude then opened up a browser, moved the cursor to the URL bar, typed in 'Reuters,' navigated to the AI section, and then repeated that process for The Verge and TechCrunch."
Key Insights:
Time-saving automation for research tasks (Example: Claude can autonomously gather information from multiple websites and compile reports in minutes)
Handles scattered information gathering efficiently (Example: The AI can pull data from various places on your computer to fill out forms)
Works across multiple applications seamlessly (Example: Can switch between browsers, CRMs, and other tools to complete complex workflows)
